Vision for BumpMuse: Jasmin, can you share your long-term vision for BumpMuse and how you envision the brand evolving to support women throughout their motherhood journey?

Yes, for sure I can!  
BumpMuse is all about the perfect fit. Our adjustable cord solution is integrated into every single one of our styles—and it will continue this way! We work in small, limited drops to avoid excess stock and to renew our collections more often, adapting to what's in fashion, the seasons, color trends, and the fabric that fits the specific season. I only choose eco-tex certified fabric since I know how aware I was back when I was pregnant with my daughter. What you put on your skin has a direct effect on your body in one way or another.  

I love our Muses Convos since they provide inspiration, value, and an honest insight into other mothers' or mothers-to-be's lives. The motherhood journey can feel isolating, and there can be fear surrounding it. All of us want to be the best mom possible for our children, but we’re also human beings who deal with relationship problems, stress from work, or family and friend situations—good or bad. You know, we’re here in the middle of life, and talking about things can help and inspire us to navigate so we can do our very best.  

When we feel good, it has a direct effect on our relationships and our ability to be the moms we want to be for our children. I’m very much into mental health, so for me, BumpMuse is a good combination of creating beautiful, high-quality styles that you can keep throughout your whole motherhood journey, combined with a safe and beautiful community that provides inspiration, safety, trust, and value.  

Community Inspiration: How does the feedback and inspiration from your community shape the designs at BumpMuse, and what role do you hope your customers will play in the brand’s future aspirations?

Very much! The heart of all my design processes is the woman’s body and wishes. I listen a lot and design most often accordingly. I’m all about embracing what we have and creating styles that adapt to and flatter every unique body. The adjustable cord solution allows me to continue with this vision. The cords are the center of every design process, with different body shapes in mind.  

Sustainable Impact: With sustainability being a central theme of BumpMuse, what impact do you hope your brand will have on the maternity fashion industry, and how do you see it influencing future generations of mothers?

Well, I remember how irritating it was to invest in clothing that I could use after my pregnancy. I love to show the curves of my body, and most often I felt like a tent. To me, motherhood is the most beautiful journey, and we should celebrate every new little curve or change in our bodies. Confidence and self-love are two beautiful things that can complement our journey as mothers, where sometimes there is little space for us and our needs.  

Also, I love the fact that you INVEST in pieces you get to keep, so it’s better for the world than shopping all the time because our clothing doesn’t adapt to our bodies. With BumpMuse, it’s the other way around; our bump styles ADJUST accordingly to YOUR personal journey. I find that to be such a unique and beautiful approach.
